Let's review the question and answer
pod in Adobe Connect 8.
To access it, go to the Pods menu, and choose Q & A.
The Q & A pod is no longer attached to a chat pod.
Everything is right here and easy for you to access.
Click on a question to expand it.
You can assign it to a particular host or presenter or delete it.
Answering the questions in the field at the bottom,
and also switching between views,
you have presenter view and participant view.
Participants will only see the Participant View in the Q & A pod.
You can filter the questions using the drop down menu,
and you can get more options by going to the contextual menu in the upper right corner,
or you can choose to export your Q & A log as rich text format, clear all of the questions,
or change the view from participant to presenter.
Under the Preferences, you can choose how you want submitter names
and presenter names to be revealed.
These are some of the new changes in the Q & A pod in Adobe Connect 8.
The Chat pod in Adobe Connect 8 has a new look also.
In the contextual menu at the top right corner, you can choose to change the text size
to make it easier for you to read, or you can choose a custom text color.
Only you can see a change to the size of your text.
Changes to text color will be visible to other attendees as well.
If you want to start a private chat with someone, you go to the contextual menu,
and choose Start Chat With.
When you select someone, it will appear as a separate tab at the bottom of the chat pod.
Under the contextual menu, you can also get to your preferences, where you can choose to
enable private chat for participants, and give chat notification options.
The chat pod in Adobe Connect 8 has a whole new look.
