Now let's take a closer look at the Attendees pod in Adobe Connect 8.
There are 3 view options for hosts
at the top of the Attendees pod
starting with Attendee view,
Breakout Room view, and Attendee Status view.
If you choose Attendee view,
you're able to view the list of attendees
broken out by their current role in the meeting
such as host, presenter, or participant.
If you choose Attendee Status view,
you'll be viewing the list broken down
by their current status.
In this case, agreed and disagreed.
The 3rd option is a host-only option,
Breakout Room view.
In Adobe Connect 8 there's no longer
a breakout configurator.
Everything for breakout sessions is done
directly within the Attendees pod,
so click "Breakout Room view" and choose
start breakouts to begin the breakout session.
Here you can drag and drop participants
into breakout rooms or you can choose
evenly distribute from main, and let
Adobe Connect 8 do it for you.
You can create new breakout rooms
participants can easily send a message
to the host at the bottom of the Attendee pod
and in the contextual menu other options
are available such as for the host or presenter
to broadcast a message, change the role of
an attendee, remove a selected user,
and even see the preferences for the Attendees pod.
Once you're finished with the session,
you can click the "end breakouts" button and
choose one of the other views to get
back to the main meeting.
You can also choose the hover menu
to enable audio and video, or change
someone's role in the meeting as well
or even start a private chat.
These are some of the new features
in the Attendees pod in Adobe Connect 8.
