My name is Matt Kloskowski.
[Matt Kloskowski] [Education Director, Kelby Media Group] I'm a photographer
and a trainer on Lightroom and Photoshop.
I first started taking pictures in high school,
but I got really serious about it when my first son was born.
I remember going out and getting my first DSLR.
I knew Photoshop.
Now I've got a camera that I can take the pictures into Photoshop with,
and as soon as that happened, it seemed like a light bulb went on,
and that's when I knew what I wanted to do.
I almost have a personal mission statement when it comes to photography,
and it's to photograph beautiful things that people would want to put on their wall,
so whether it's family lifestyle, I love to capture families
doing what they love to do with each other, or beautiful pictures of beautiful places.
I enjoy being somewhere at sunrise or sunset
capturing that moment and being able to bring it back
and share it with everybody else.
See the kind of stuff we're getting? Oh, that's a nice shot.
I like that one, actually.
I think it makes sense to become a Creative Cloud member because of the access.
I don't have to stop the creative process.
Everything is right there for me to use whenever I need it.
I'll work inside of Lightroom and do the exposure
and do the light balance changes, and then I'll jump into Photoshop,
and for me personally, I'm pretty meticulous about little spots and little branches,
and that's where Photoshop comes into play.
It's because now I have that retouching aspect.
One of the things that excites me about the Creative Cloud
is the tools that are available.
No longer do we have to wait 12 or 18 months
for a brand-new tool.
When Adobe comes up with this technology, we can get it.
The new Photoshop updates are incredibly cool, number 1,
because it's kind of unprecedented.
6 months after Photoshop was released, we're getting new features,
and we're getting beefy features.
As a photographer, my secret tool is the liquify filter.
I can't count how many times I used to have to undo and redo it again,
so to have smart object support means I can go back and change them
really any time that I want to.
All right, Emma, Luke, you want to take some pictures?>>Yeah.
My ego loves to hear people say, "Matt, that's a great photo."
That's not really what I'm after.
What I'm after is someone to say, "You taught me something
that I didn't think I was capable of doing."
"You taught me something that I had dreamed of
but I never thought that I could do," and for me,
that's what it all comes down to is to show people
you guys can do this too.
Anybody can do this out there.
You don't have to be a pro to do it.
These tools will help you get your vision.
