[Rufus Deuchler] [Worldwide Design Evangelist] In Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium,
we've added dozens of enhancements that reduce the time needed
to perform specific production tasks.
For example, in Photoshop, content-aware technologies
let you quickly move or remove entire selections,
and you can watch as your image magically fills, extends,
or recomposes.
In InDesign, we've made it very easy to work with multiple formats
or orientations in a single document
by letting you create alternate layouts,
which can also be generated automatically using liquid layouts,
which are based on rules that you can specify.
Illustrator has been rebuilt from the ground up
and has been optimized for 64 bit,
and this translates into tremendous speed improvement
and the ability to work on larger and more complex files.
We also have a new dark user interface,
but the tools, panels, and controls are still where you expect them to be.
However, many tasks take fewer steps now.
For example, you can change the name of layers directly in the Layers panel
without having to open an intermediate dialogue box.
These are just a few of the great improvements to the applications
in the Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium.
You will soon discover many more, but the important thing here is that
we've made many tasks more efficient so that you can now focus on being creative.
