[Adobe Ideas]
[David Macy, Principal Product Manager, Adobe Touch Apps] Adobe Ideas, very simply,
is a digital sketch book.
You can take it with you anywhere you go and capture inspiration when it hits you.
Because it's a digital sketch book rather than a traditional sketch book,
there are a lot of things that you can do beyond what you can do with a pencil and paper.
Adobe Ideas has a very simple vector pencil tool that you can control
the color, size, and opacity, and it has 50 levels of undo and redo.
It has a drawing layer, and optionally, a photo layer,
so if you want to place a photo for reference or to trace over
or even to mark up on top of the photo, you can use it for that.
You can also import color themes that you've created in the Kuler app
or from the Kuler website.
Because it's a vector-based application, you can zoom into any level
and go in and draw fine details.
It will zoom and render as crisply as possible without showing big pixels or fuzzy edges.
Adobe Ideas works perfectly as a companion to Creative Suite applications.
You can connect through the Creative Cloud, and you can easily open your drawings
in Adobe Illustrator for further refinement or bring them into Photoshop
to integrate them into a photo composite.
Capture and explore your ideas anywhere you go with Adobe Ideas.
It's a creative companion for Illustrator and Photoshop.
