[Julieanne Kost, Senior Digital Imaging Evangelist] My name is Julieanne Kost, and today I am very excited to present to you the new features in the Lightroom 4 Beta. Now, as you know this is a Beta because you downloaded it from labs.adobe.com. This is not a shipping product, so there are some major differences that I just want to talk about. The first one is going to be we are not, in the Beta, going to update your Lightroom 3 catalogs to Lightroom 4. Obviously, when we ship the product we will do that, but for right now, when you launch the Beta, we will create a new catalog, and you can import your files into that new catalog. Now, when I say import your files don't import your originals. You want to be working on copies because this is a Beta, and we are still making changes to the product. We've created several short videos discussing the top new features, including the new image processing and adjustment tools in the develop module, and that's going to include things like the changes that we've made to the basic panel, our localize adjustment tools, the implementation of soft proofing as well as some updates that have been made to the DNG file format. Then, we're also going to be talking about how we've share and publish images. So, we've included videos on our new support for email, for publish services, for video within Lightroom, and then, finally, I'll be talking about and covering the book module in Lightroom, and there will be both an introduction as well as a kind of more advanced tutorial in that.
