Separating desired audio from background noise is a painful process. Or rather, it was. Use a visual editor to paint the sounds you want while identifying those you don't, and this tool will do the rest. It is early prototype technology that we are working on in our development labs. This is not part of any Adobe product but is an example of capabilities that we could include in future years.

If you have recorded a lecture, presentation, or other piece of audio, you may need to clean it up and remove unwanted noises. Using Adobe Audition, you can easily remove noises, hums, whirs, and slamming doors to ensure you have an audio recording that is easy for students to hear.
