Super Zoom in After Effects
Super Zoom in After Effects
Once again a customer question turns into an episode with the idea of something Colin calls Super Zoom. Colin shows you how to combine a high resolution still image with video so the camera can zoom into macro levels without the image getting pixelated. Using After Effects motion reframes and color correction, this can be achieved to create a seamless blend between video and a still.

Photoshop Memory Settings & Performance
Photoshop Memory Settings & Performance
Getting the most out of Photoshop performance means understanding what settings are the best for you. Shooting Movies with a RED One Camera Through a Microscope
Shooting Movies with a RED One Camera Through a Microscope
Join Richard Weinberg of the USC School of Cinematic Arts to explore high-resolution motion picture optical microscopy. Weinberg developed a system for shooting movies with a RED One camera through a microscope and created a ten-minute movie, "MicrOrganisms," in 4K resolution that premiered in December 2009 at the CineGrid conference. This session reviews the image capture, editing, and visual effects process and how Weinberg used this system to stream live HD microscopy from Los Angeles to Yokohama, Japan, for an interactive presentation at SIGGRAPH Asia.
