FrameMaker XML : Doc View to see Topic content
FrameMaker XML : Doc View to see Topic content
FrameMaker allows you to temporarily display a standard DITAmap in a "document" view. This shows all navtitles as hyperlinked headlings. This brief video reveals how a simple command allows you to expand all the content of a dita topic and make it visible from your doc view of the DITAmap. This is a tremendous time save when you are trying to locate the correct topic to edit based on visual cues like graphics and tables.

FrameMaker 12: Restore session & open files with Drag n' Drop
FrameMaker 12 adds two powerful new ways to open and close files. The open files pod enables you to close (with or without saving) multiple files in one action via "check box" choices. You can also select file icons (XML or *.fm) and drag the files onto a menu bar to open the files in FrameMaker 12. You no longer have to resize doc windows to open up FrameMaker "desktop" areas for drag n' drop actions.

FrameMaker for Word: Number streams for docs with mixed number schemes
See how easy it is to isolate lists or other paragraphs to maintain their own "discrete" auto-numbering within complex documents that have several numbered schemes. For instance, you can define a paragraph that introduces a series of steps and ensures that the next paragraph is always prefixed by "Step 1:" Watch this short video to find out just how simple this is. You can do it too!
