Internal Apps: June 2014 Update
Internal apps used by corporate have new features in the June 2014 DPS Update. Enterprise customers now have access to third-party API integration to build connections between DPS Apps and tools including Customer Management Systems like SalesForce.com and Learning Mangement Systems. These integrations allow DPS apps to record content use and views for later analysis in the CRM, LMS, or other tool. Internal apps can also benefit from requiring folio updates to keep content on devices up to date. This is now supported for DPS apps.
Information Screen & Scheduled Text Notifications
Increase engagement with your app by displaying an Information Screen at any point when customers are consuming content. Information Screen functionality displays content at any time during the app experience to encourage readers to create an account, download a companion app, access help content or view other customized offers via Web view. Display HTML content consistent with your app’s look-and-feel that prompts a user to take action, and include this HTML content within the Information Screen. And streamline the process of sending text notifications to keep consumers on iOS engaged with your app and brand. Use new scheduling capabilities to set up notifications in advance, and push them out on a specific date for maximum impact on your audience. Additionally, gain additional insight into how you’re engaging customers with notifications through new functionality allowing review of sent notifications.
Streamlining production with the Copy Folio feature
Streamline the production process and improve collaboration with new Copy Folio functionality. Copy an entire folio to your account using one-click access from the Folio Producer Service, eliminating the need to copy and rebuild a folio article-by-article. Insert content, including editorial and advertising, from content contributors and agencies more easily with the streamlined Copy Folio workflow. In addition, automate folio copying with access to the Copy Folio API.
