Your Phone is Your Controller (and Other Multiuser Adventures)
Colin Moock delves into the world of multiuser experiences, showing, among other things, how to turn your phone into a big-screen multi player game controller.
In this session, Brett Rampata from Adobe’s Experience Design Group will unveil a new “Casual Social Game” platform that integrates with Facebook and leverages Adobe AIR’s unique capabilities. Brett will walk attendees through the “disruptive” desktop experience built in collaboration with MTV and Jackass, and provide a behind-the-scenes look into how it was created.
This presentation will introduce the iPhone SDK to aid in iOS development by using terms they already understand, by comparing the elements of the iPhone SDK to elements used in Flash. We'll do side-by-side comparison of Objective-C to ActionScript. We'll compare a few functional examples of tasks that you know how to do in ActionScript, and show you how to do them in Objective-C: parsing XML, loading images, saving preferences, animating graphics.
