We talk to Chris Thompson, Head of Business Development at Ravensbourne the specialist school of Design and Communication. We’ll also talk to students and educators about Ravensbourne’s unique approach to design education, with the focus on technology and management.

Joe Benton 19 year-old digital media student at Bournemouth University, relates the story of his early interest in art and design, his progression to animation and interactive projects, and most recently setting up 8bit Lemon, an agency set up with seven fellow Bournemouth students. We also join Joe on the first day of an internship at web design agency Bright Blue Day in Poole.

Matt Wicks showcases two key recent projects completed by his agency The Virtual Forge: the VF Hub, a bespoke desktop video blogging tool with built-in review and approval capabilities; and NJF Search, a recruitment app with geolocation and AR functionality. The Virtual Forge aims to start creative conversations with all its clients, across all web and mobile platforms.

Fine art and commercial photographer Allan Jenkins’ work lies in the place where analogue meets digital in photography. In this film, Allan walks us through the process of producing Victorian-era Cyanotype prints, as well as showcasing his portrait photography.
