In addition to making an entire image function as a hyperlink, RoboHelp 10 enables you to identify sections of an image or screen capture which you would like to link to different targets. Image maps allow you to draw a desired "hot zone" shape over a button, field, or section of graphic, and have hyperlink action to another section of the project, or even a URL. It's as easy as making a hyperlink; all you need is to know where to find the menu!

Jeff Sengstack explains how to apply "bump maps" to 3D objects and then adjust them. Bump maps give 3D objects texture -- bumpiness. They can make a reptile's skin look rough, create a sense of contours on the surface of a planet, or make a smooth sphere look like the skin of an orange.
Applies to the CC and CS6 versions of Photoshop.

Editing Images with Natural Language:
Photo editing can be a challenging task, and it becomes even more difficult on the small, portable screens of mobile devices that are now frequently used to capture and edit images. To address this problem we present PixelTone, a multimodal photo editing interface that combines speech and direct manipulation. We observe existing image editing practices and derive a set of principles that guide our design. In particular, we use natural language for expressing desired changes to an image, and sketching to localize these changes to specific regions. To support the language commonly used in photoediting we develop a customized natural language interpreter that maps user phrases to specific image processing operations. Finally, we perform a user study that evaluates and demonstrates the effectiveness of our interface.
A compound effect is an effect that refers to, or takes values from, another layer in your comp. In this video we'll look at how this works by examining the Lens Blur effect, which can be used to create a pull focus effect on your layers. You'll see how to apply it selectively to specific areas of your footage using a Luminance Map we create using the Ramp effect.
Learn how to keep track of where your photographs were taken. Corey Barker takes you on a tour of the Add Places feature in Photoshop Elements 11. See how Organizer automatically reads your photograph's map information if available, or lets you manually add a location to a photograph.

The People tab groups photos and videos based on who's in them, and the Events tab is great for viewing photos and videos based on vacations, parties, and other events.
