Even with the fantastic new Blur Gallery in Photoshop CS6, the Lens Blur filter is an essential tool when a high degree of control is needed to selectively (and realistically) blur an image. In this video tutorial, Julieanne uses the Lens Blur filter with a depth map to to create a series of images that appear as if they were captured with a tilt-shift lens. Julieanne also demonstrates how to quickly apply this filter to multiple images using actions and batch processing.

A Rough Cut screening is a great way to facilitate media sharing and should be done in a supportive and respectful environment. In this video you’ll learn how to conduct a Rough Cut Screening or Gallery Walk.
A cocktail-style celebration at the AIGA National Design Center Gallery on 5th Avenue in New York City. Attendees were encouraged to get hands on with the new features in CS6 and Creative Cloud. They were able to sketch a design using Adobe Ideas on the iPad. The sketches were then sent (by syncing to Creative Cloud) to a panel of designers (3 designers from Coach Brands, and 1 from Limited Brands) who used the new pattern creation tools in Illustrator CS6 to turn the sketches into repeating patterns which we will then be printed on a custom messenger bag. We’ll be sending each attendee who participated their very own unique messenger bag in a few weeks.
Powered by the new Mercury Graphics Engine, the Blur Gallery allows you to apply and combine three kinds of blur. Use it to create depth-of-field effects in post. This highly versatile filter also allows you to customize specific points of blur and focus.
