Learn how to use Adobe Creative Cloud to build responsive, interactive web pages. We'll cover creating vector graphics, extracting CSS properties, adding interactivity and animation, using web fonts, and adjusting assets and content for responsive layouts. Dave Hogue, vice president of experience design at Fluid, will outline how to:• Use Adobe Fireworks to create graphics• Define CSS properties that will be turned into an interactive portfolio using Adobe Edge Animate• Combine interactive components and CSS properties in Adobe Dreamweaver, Edge Code, Brackets, and Edge Reflow to create a responsive web page

Explore why SVG may be the most significant technology to leverage as myriad displays continue to emerge on an almost daily basis. Learn how to get started with SVG as well as how to ensure harmonization across web platforms with SVG2. During this session, Alan Greenblatt, Adobe Evangelist, and Dirk Schulze, Adobe Computer Scientist, will:- Outline the foundations of SVG such as drawing shapes, transforms, and animation- Demonstrate SVG features such as transforms, masks, clip-paths, and filters applied to HTML content- Provide a look at the SVG support in the tools you know and love, and show exactly what it is they are exporting- Explain the work Adobe has been contributing to CSS and SVG to bring vector graphics back to the forefront of web design- Showcase key SVG2 features such as masking, filters, text decoration, and advanced styling
FrameMaker has many functions not available in Word, including the ability to make a "reverse cross reference" between graphic objects and related text. Watch this short video to see how to select objects or portions of a vector diagram, and make them behave as hyperlinked hotspots that will jump to related text. A simple marker mechanism is used to accomplish this.
FrameMaker 11 has graphic object properties, which behave somewhat like layers in InDesign. Confined to vector graphic shapes and anchored frames, they allow users to universally change all instances of certain anchored frames, text call-outs, or common shapes and graphic objects.
In this video, you will see how to quickly convert vector
graphics from Illustrator to shape layers and animate the paths in After Effects CS6. In previous versions, this would have involved a great deal of tedious cutting and pasting - but no more.

In this mobile app demo, John Chen shows animations on the Nexus One (left) and iPod 4 (right) performing poorly because of too many vector graphics. Note the degraded performance (as slow as 12 fps) as more and more vector graphics come in. (Click the HTML Text link to read the article.)
In this lesson, Adobe Community Professional Tom Green shows how to optimize graphical elements for more efficient rendering with Adobe Flash player. See how you can create a more responsive user experience.

Mobile devices can have a hard time processing complex vector graphics. With Flash Professional CS5.5 you now have the ability to export complex vector graphics as an easier-to-process bitmap while still retaining the graphic in vector format in Flash Pro. Paul Trani takes you through this process and shows you how to cache vector graphics as bitmap images.

In the first part I'll demonstarte how to work with Adobe Illustrator in order to prepare vector graphics so it can be extruded to multiple 3D objects using the BCC EPS Extrude plug-in. Then inside Adobe After Effects I'll show how to dress your logo, work with the various Extrusion options, Materials and Render settings. I'll create a fancy camera moves using the built in camera and lights, and end up rendering 4 different scene.
Explore the most current optimization strategies for graphics in Adobe Flash Player and ActionScript 3.0, including their effects on both Adobe AIR content and existing web content. You'll walk away with an understanding of not only how to implement these best practices, but also why they are required for improved performance. From bitmap vs. vector to vector vs. array, this session has you covered.
Discover how to make your vector art stand out. In this session, you'll learn about the variety of output options within Adobe Illustrator that can be used to create dynamic designs and illustrations. Artist Greg Geisler, one of the creators of the Illustrator how-to guides on Adobe.com (http://www.adobe.com/products/illustrator/howto/), will walk you through his process for creating visually rich artwork. He'll show techniques using various tools in Illustrator, discuss integration between Illustrator and Flash Professional, and explore going beyond Illustrator with additional techniques such as laser cutting. Join this session and get more out of Illustrator.
Learn how to create and prepare artwork in Illustrator for use in After Effects. Learn how to maximize the quality and flexibility of vector graphics in After Effects.
Sizing and scaling images, unlike vector graphics, can result in a loss of image quality. Make your transformations non-destructive in Photoshop by converting layers to Smart Objects prior to making changes.
