Russell Brown offers two different approaches for creating a magical effect by painting with light on an image in Photoshop Touch.

Russell Brown starts with a composite image and then uses the Blur filter and the Add Fade effect to create a dynamic directional blur effect.

Use Add Fade to combine your images. Select from predefined fade effects, determine the angle and direction of the fade, and adjust the highlights and shadows to get the lighting effect you desire.
