Create application demonstrations and simulations directly in Adobe® Flash® Professional CS5 using the Record application with Adobe Captivate 5 command.
Using Adobe® Soundbooth® CS5 you can export the audio for your entire project as a single file. Once you have finished editing the audio you can import it back into Adobe® Captivate® whilst still maintaining slide association and audio quality.
Adobe® Captivate® Advanced Actions enable you to handle complex interaction scenarios by scripting your own actions and apply them to various interactive objects or a slide itself.
Using Adobe® Captivate® export scoring data in a SCORM- and AICC-compliant format for use with an LMS
If you do not want to use an LMS, you can satisfy basic evaluation needs at no extra cost. Adobe® Captivate® enables you to track and report key performance metrics, like average score and pass or fail, without you having to invest in an LMS (Learning Management System). You can choose to report data to either Acrobat.com or an Internal Server.

Adobe® Captivate® enables you to enrich your eLearning content with video with a wide variety of video formats.
Using Slide Video you can share video across slides and synchronize them accurately across multiple slides or objects in a slide using video frames as a reference.
The inclusion of audio in training courses not only greatly enhances learners’ experiences; it also ensures that your courses are accessible to a wide audience.
With Adobe® Captivate® you can make your learning come alive with rich animation effects. You can create object animations within Adobe® Captivate® 5, by choosing from an extensive list predefined effects like straight-line motion, rotation, and glow.
Adobe® Captivate® lets you format objects across a project. Every project has common objects such as Text Captions. Using Object Styles you can set properties for the selected object and save them as an Object Style.
Use the drawing tools in Adobe® Captivate® to create artwork for your projects. Drawing tools help you create basic shapes within Adobe® Captivate® so that you don’t have to create and import them from other applications.
Record slides in any of the automatic modes, Adobe® Captivate® adds the required objects depending on the preference set for the mode. Descriptions of the actions are also added using text captions.
Adobe® Captivate® contains advanced quizzing functionality that makes it easy to create your own robust quizzes and assessments.
