Lighting is an important part of any Photoshop Extended 3D project. Lights enhance object's 3D characteristics and give depth to a scene. Jeff Sengstack presents an overview of the three standard 3D lights that you can work with in Photoshop: Infinite, Point, and Spot. Applies to the CC and CS6 versions of Photoshop.

Jeff Sengstack demonstrates how to distort 2D text and convert that flat text to extruded 3D shapes. He shows how you can use 3D properties to futher change the shape, color, beveling and other characteristics on a character-by-character basis. Applies to the CC and CS6 versions of Photoshop.
